A West Lothian woman has completed a 15,000ft sky dive in memory of a young boy who spent time at Sunndach, Sick Kids Respite Centre in Livingston, and also the Sick Kids in Edinburgh.

Aimee Brown, from Blackburn, has already raised more than £1,000 for the two centres from her jump, which she carried out at Skydive Northwest in Flookborough, but she’s hoping that people will continue to donate, via her JustGiving page.

“My younger brother attended Sunndach for some time,” said Aimee’s friend David O’Neill, “he loved it there and this is one of the ways we wish to repay them for all their support to our family.”

Aimee said: “Some people think I am mad but I did it for a great cause.”

Donations can continue to be made via Aimee’s Just Giving page by clicking the button below.
