Save Pinewood School

West Lothian Council are proposing to remove our most vulnerable primary children out of the school they have settled into, to Ogilvie school, which will now become the primary school for ASN children. Pinewood will then only take high school children.

The head at Pinewood has worked tirelessly to integrate Pinewood pupils into the local community. The school has recently won numerous awards in the primary dept, and our children are now thriving in this environment where many of the children are currently able to spend primary & secondary school life, which allows them a familiar, secure educational environment, allowing them to reach their full potential. The schools staffing and pupils will change dramatically, and the secondary kids at the school will no longer have the benefit of mentoring & supporting the younger children as they do now.

We feel very strongly that local people should know about this, PLEASE take a minute to sign this petition and we are going to try our upmost to fight the changes.
